José Eduardo Gramani (1944 -1998)
This is one of the last compositions of the fiddle-player Zé Gramani, one of the founders of ANIMA. It is highly polyrhythmic at different melodic levels, as in most of his work. This rhythmic tapestry is introduced by a zarb improvisation, and then woven and embroidered by the harpsichord’s needles.
