This Sephardic romance follows the tradition of the stories of badly-husbanded women. The berimbau dialogues with the harpsichord and the violaúde, an instrument created by the instrument maker Fernando Vanini. It evokes the sound of the ûd (the Arab ancestor of the Renaissance lute) and symbolises the cultural merge of Jews, Muslims and Christians in the Iberian Peninsula, especially during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.

No vos echéx la mi madre, Que yo so tu hijó caronal.
